The world of personal finance brings with it lots of obstacles — not the least of which is understanding the terms and jargon. Just listen to the terms tossed around on financial TV networks like CNBC, and used in financial magazines like Forbes and Kiplinger. It's enough to give a guy a stiff headache.

The following list is by no means comprehensive, but hopefully, it's a start. And it'll at least keep you fluent in the terms used in most mass-media outlets.
